About the event
Virginia White is an award winning artist who recently won the, Award of Excellence, for
her pastel of, “Under the Knights Ferry Bridge” in the, Art of Pastels, show at the
Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock. Virginia is a retired art teacher from the Oakdale public
schools and now spends her time as a full time artist.
Students will create a landscape using a variety of pastel techniques. Color,
composition, lights and shadows will be part of the lesson.

Pastel paper provided. Extra pastels and materials will be available to share with the class. Doors open at 9:15 am to set up. Deposit $25.
