An award winning photo-fusion artist, Barber has won multiple awards for her blending of media. Working in mixed media formats akin to collage and montages, she combines digital painting, photography and special effects to create compositions that are uniquely her own. Holding a background in fine arts–a BFA from the University of Nebraska–Barber has previously worked with Lincoln Intaglio printmaking, painting, oils and watercolors. Animals and flowers are two themes of interest to Barber.
