Artist Biography & Contact

A resident of Atwater, CA, Anise Burns is a docent of the CCAA’s Mistlin Gallery. Taking art classes throughout her school experience, Burns became the student of American watercolor artist Tony Couch for six years and more recently of watercolor artist Iain Stewart. The medium of choice for Burns is watercolor and ink with landscapes being the subject of interest. Anise has experience with watercolor demonstrations, country fair award shows, and fundraising events. Cited as her favorite artists are: Rembrandt, Tony Couch, Iian Stewart, contemporary impressionist oil painter Michael Flohr, and the author Louise Penny.
